This is part of George's retirement fund. The project started with the ordering of some equipment in the Spring of 1999 and was completed in the summer of 2004.
JoMarie designed this sign and presented it to George in honor of his 66th birthday June 16, 2004. As you can see, the sign is proudly displayed on the center of the entrance wall to the observatory area.
